The E2O2 Program
Our
mission is to provide high school students with education, guidance,
resources, and projects encouraging development of environmental
stewardship.
A 5 Stage process to Environmental Stewardship
Stage 1: Information & Recruitment
·An
Informational event and recruitment event will be set up at each school
to accommodate and cater to school policies on how clubs run on campus.
Program can work in correlation with already existing environmental
clubs if any.
Stage 2: Education and Awareness
· Interactive presentation on environmental awareness and stewardship and its importance will take place at each school.
Stage 3: Student Empowerment
·Selection
of E2O2 representatives from each high school will take place. These
students will work with our E2O2 team to help bridge the gap between
college and high school students in the organization. E2O2 HS
representatives will recieve guidance, resources, and information about
planned events to communicate to their high school branch.
Stage 4: Project Implementation
·Students
implement major project (may vary from school to school based on need;
i.e.: recycling program, school garden, energy conservation or paper
conservation projects) with guidance and resources provided by our E2O2
team.
Stage 5: Participation In Activities and Events
·
E2O2 will hold monthly activities for the students, such as park
cleanups, fun get-togethers, earth day events and more! Also,
fundraisers are held to help fund the E2O2 and keep our program
running!
